Job summary

NORTHEAST FOODS INC. is seeking a Payroll/HCM professional to support payroll processing, HRIS operations, and data control across multiple locations. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and timely payroll delivery.

Required

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of payroll, HRIS, workforce management, or related HR/payroll experience.
• Experience processing or supporting payroll in a multi-location environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of payroll processes, timekeeping, deductions, taxes, and wage-and-hour requirements.
• Strong HRIS and payroll system experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, filtering, sorting, lookups, and data reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict payroll deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive employee, payroll, and financial information.

Preferred

• ** Experience with UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management (WFM) strongly preferred.**
• Experience with workforce management functions, including timekeeping, scheduling, time clocks, pay rules, accruals, exceptions, and manager approvals.
• Experience supporting or administering HRIS and payroll systems, including system configuration, troubleshooting, reporting, testing, and user support.
• Experience with HRIS implementations, system conversions, integrations, upgrades, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Experience supporting payroll for multiple companies, locations, departments, or employee populations.
• ** Union and/or collective bargaining agreement (CBA) experience is a plus**, particularly experience administering contractual pay provisions, overtime rules, premiums, seniority-related provisions, and other negotiated payroll requirements.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, bakery, warehouse, distribution, or other 24/7 operational environment is a plus.
• Experience developing payroll/HRIS reports, conducting system and payroll audits, and reconciling data between systems.
• FPC, CPP, SHRM, or related professional certification is a plus.
