Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support timekeeping and payroll functions under supervision. You will process on- and off-cycle payrolls, handle direct deposits and pay slips, and ensure compliance with FLSA and internal policies.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, customer service, and collaboration with departmental leadership to resolve inquiries and improve payroll operations. Experience in payroll systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a payroll department that oversees timekeeping and payroll processing or as a time editor in similar timekeeping system.

Responsibilities

• Process on- and off-cycle payroll data following Corewell guidelines and reviews for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter, process, monitor and maintain data for on- and off-cycle payroll payment runs.
• Distribute payroll checks via mailroom, FedEx, or courier to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate, confidential payroll documentation and interact with department leaders.
• Review withholding orders and audit data flow from HR to ensure pay accuracy.
