Job summary

ProMed is seeking a Payroll Specialist to safeguard payroll accuracy and regulatory compliance across timekeeping, benefits deductions, and employment status changes. You will coordinate with HR and finance to ensure timely, error-free pay, benefits administration, and tax reporting in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, at least one year in payroll processing, and proficiency with payroll software; you’ll handle audits, inquiries, and data integrity

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • The ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll processing.

Responsibilities

  • Process timesheet data accurately, validate hours, and ensure correct compensation.
  • Coordinate with HR on new hires, terminations, and employee status changes.
  • Administer benefits deductions and garnishments with accuracy.
  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and clarity.
