Job summary

WSI Southwest, Inc. is hiring a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate weekly payroll processing for its field and office staff. You will manage timekeeping, verify entries in Gusto, and resolve discrepancies with foremen and employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of payroll or related experience.
• Gusto experience preferred; other platforms acceptable.
• Familiarity with Job Tread or similar time-tracking software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Monitor timesheets daily across all active projects.
• Compare timecards with supervisor logs and document discrepancies.
• Generate and distribute weekly compliance reports to foremen.
• Follow up to ensure corrections are made before payroll.
• Upload approved data to Gusto by Tuesday end of day.
• Verify payroll entries are accurate in Gusto.
• Maintain organized payroll records.
• Communicate professionally to resolve timesheet issues.
