Job summary

nCino is seeking an Associate Payroll Specialist to own end-to-end payroll processing across multiple frequencies, including monthly and biweekly, across states. You will learn payroll software maintenance, support tax audits, and participate in tax law research under supervision.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and customer-focused service in a collaborative team environment. You will help with tax remittance, report validation, and keeping profiles up to date in enterprise systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
• CPP certification preferred.
• Experience with Workday or comparable enterprise system.

Responsibilities

• Process end to end payroll to ensure accurate and timely transactions.
• Develop reporting from the payroll system for ad hoc needs.
• Research and resolve payroll problems under guidance.
• Assist employees with deductions and pay modifications.
• Stay current with federal and state regulations.
• Triage payroll inquiries with a customer-centered approach.
• Remit tax payments and verify deposits with SOX compliance.
• Review tax returns and deposits for accuracy.
