Job summary

M-Team Solutions is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Columbus, OH to join a direct-hire opportunity serving 400+ employees across multiple locations. You will manage weekly, biweekly, and monthly payroll, contribute to timecard reconciliation, and ensure accurate payroll deductions and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of payroll experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and Excel.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressively responsible payroll processing experience.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and high-volume environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, garnishments, and deductions.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely payroll across multiple locations and pay cycles.
• Reconcile timecards and payroll data.
• Support domestic and multi-state payroll operations.
• Prepare payroll reports and GL adjustments.
• Manage employee deductions, benefits, and 401(k) contributions.
• Balance payroll journal entries and assist month-end close.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and stay compliant with laws.
