Job summary

LCS is seeking a Payroll Accountant to process bi-weekly payrolls for our retirement community employees. The role includes maintaining payroll records in Oracle, handling tax reporting, and assisting with client billing and costing analysis.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of payroll experience in a multi-state environment, strong Excel/Office skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years payroll experience in a multi-state organization.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and 10-key.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Maintain high level of confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem solving and detail orientation.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly retirement community payrolls.
• Maintain employee payroll and personnel records in Oracle.
• Maintain payroll tax records and assist with W‑2s.
• Handle PTO, holidays, and shift differentials per policies.
• Prepare costing reports for client invoicing.
• Assist with client billing inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
• Reconcile payroll accounts with the general ledger.
• Prepare payroll reports for clients and management.
