Qualifications

• 2–4 years of payroll experience in a complex multi-state organization.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and 10-key.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly retirement community payrolls.
• Maintain employee payroll and personnel records in Oracle, including tax, deductions and benefits.
• Maintain federal, state, and local payroll tax records; assist with tax reporting and W-2s.
• Understand client PTO, holiday payment, and shift differentials per policies and regulations.
• Prepare costing reports for client invoicing.
• Respond to client inquiries on payroll and benefits expenses.
• Reconcile payroll accounts with the general ledger.
• Prepare payroll reports for clients and management.
