Job summary

National Health Care Associates, Inc. is hiring a Payroll Officer to support payroll operations across our facilities in Connecticut. You will enter and verify payroll data, process deductions, and respond to teammate questions to ensure accurate, timely pay.

You will maintain confidential payroll records, reconcile reports, and collaborate with care-center teams to resolve discrepancies in a fast-paced environment while upholding compliance with labor laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with payroll processing preferred; training provided.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Collect, calculate and enter payroll-related data into the payroll system.
• Identify missing information and retrieve data when necessary.
• Process 401(K) Plan and other payroll deductions and withholdings.
• Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Support care center teams by responding to payroll questions and resolving discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain payroll records and files in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Process payroll transactions, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and bonuses.
