Atlas Healthcare, LLC in Manchester, CT is seeking a Payroll Clerk to support payroll processing under the direction of our Payroll Director and in accordance with established policies. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to adapt to shifting priorities, and a collaborative, structured approach to compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of payroll experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll/HR processing and verify payroll for accuracy.
• Enter timekeeping data and calculate earnings, overtime, and other pay elements.
• Prepare and run weekly/biweekly payroll in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with wage laws.
• Assist with garnishments, benefits deductions, and year-end processes.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and maintain confidentiality of employee data.
