Worldwide Flight Services is seeking a Payroll Specialist II to manage payroll processing and support the Payroll Management team to ensure timely, accurate pay in compliance with government regulations.

The role involves reviewing hours, processing payroll for hourly and salary staff, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring proper updates for new hires, terminations, and rate changes. It requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 5–7 years of related payroll experience.
• Extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
• Proficient with payroll software (ADP and SAP).
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Experience with audits and payroll compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review employee hours with Time and Attendance to prepare payroll uploads and resolve inaccuracies.
• Process payroll for hourly and salary employees, ensuring accuracy and applying corrections for finalization.
• Review pay discrepancies and provide resolutions.
• Manage pay card payments and reconcile payroll; respond to employee pay inquiries.
• Process payroll updates for new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and best practices.
• Support audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
• Collaborate with Compensation, Benefits, Labor Relations and field operations; perform other duties as assigned.
• Work on special projects as assigned.
