Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5-7 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and SAP preferred.
• Strong Excel and payroll reporting skills.
• CPP certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in material handling/manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Kronos a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for multiple locations with weekly, bi-weekly and monthly cycles.
• Prepare journal entries and GL support; perform account reconciliations.
• Maintain payroll records and filings to comply with laws and regulations.
• Review payroll reports from third-party agencies and ensure proper tax withholdings.
• Compile payroll data including garnishments, 401(k) deductions, and insurance.
• Balance W-2 forms and taxes; assist monthly close processes.
• Support internal/external audits and SOX/JSOX compliance.
