Job summary

Daifuku North America seeks an experienced Payroll Specialist II to manage payroll for multiple locations and ensure accurate tax withholding and deductions. The role requires strong Excel skills, familiarity with major payroll systems (ADP Workforce Now, UKG, SAP), and the ability to collaborate across teams.

You will support monthly close, audits, and reporting to executive leadership, while maintaining payroll records and complying with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 5–7 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now, UKG, and SAP preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and payroll reporting experience.
• CPP certification preferred but not required.
• Manufacturing/company experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze problems and provide resolutions.
• Excellent organizational skills with deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for multiple locations on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly schedule.
• Prepare payroll reports and general ledger entries.
• Ensure accurate withholding of taxes, Social Security, and benefits deductions.
• Maintain payroll records and filings to comply with laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with Corporate Treasury for wire transfers.
• Support monthly close and internal/external audits (SOX/JSOX).
• Provide payroll reports to executive management and assist special projects.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to inquiries from employees.
