California State University Channel Islands is seeking a Payroll Technician II to independently process a wide range of confidential payroll and personnel transactions and ensure timely, accurate pay for staff, management, faculty, and student assistants. • Two years payroll experience.
• Knowledge of policies, laws, and collective bargaining agreements.
• Accurate data entry, auditing, and reconciliation.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Process confidential payroll transactions for campus units.
• Calculate and process various pay plans and status changes.
• Prepare and review payroll documents; correct errors.
• Generate and reconcile reports; audit CHRS Absence Management and Time & Labor.
• Provide guidance and training to payroll users.
