To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Payroll Spec I Minimum: Three years’ human resources experience with expertise in one of the following: recruiting, compensation, benefits, training and development or employee relations; or equivalent combination of education/training and experience. A Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field may be substituted for 2 years’ experience. Knowledge of HR best practices and regulatory environment.
Preferred: PHR, SPHR, CCP, CBP or equivalent professional certification. Experience in the banking industry.
Five years’ human resources experience with expertise in one of the following: recruiting, compensation, benefits, learning and development, or employee relations and good working knowledge of a secondary human resources function; or equivalent combination of education/training and experience. A Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field may be substituted for 2 years’ experience. Knowledge of HR best practices and regulatory environment.
Preferred: PHR, SPHR, CCP, CBP or equivalent professional certification. Experience in the banking industry. Lead or supervisory experience.
