Job summary

The Parking Spot in Chicago is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our payroll team. You will process weekly payroll for 2,000+ employees across multiple states, audit data in UKG Pro, and ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies.

Hybrid work in downtown Chicago with career growth, plus benefits including medical, vision, dental, and a 401(k). You’ll collaborate with Finance and HR to maintain data integrity and improve payroll processes.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years payroll experience with hourly workforce.
• Experience using UKG Pro for payroll processing.
• Detail-oriented with strong data accuracy in HR/payroll data.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and issue weekly payroll for 2,000+ employees across multiple states.
• Review and audit payroll data in UKG Pro; investigate discrepancies and coordinate with management.
• Audit and approve timecard changes in Workforce Management; monitor timesheet and leave requests.
• Generate payroll reports and support internal/external reporting needs; assist with post-payroll duties and GL preparation.
• Manage payroll inbox and ensure data accuracy, deductions, and timely responses to requests.
