Rehmann is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Solutions team in Michigan. You will deliver accurate payroll processing for a diverse client portfolio and help clients navigate payroll requirements with confidence.

You will manage payroll reporting, tax registrations, and system setup while collaborating with internal experts. A reliable team player with strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of payroll-related experience.
• Experience supporting multiple clients or working in a service-oriented environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Processing payroll accurately and on time for multiple clients.
• Managing payroll reporting and coordinating payroll tax registrations.
• Setting up and maintaining payroll systems and benefit tracking solutions.
• Verifying payroll data and ensuring smooth transitions from prior providers.
• Serving as a trusted resource for client payroll questions and inquiries.
• Identifying, researching, and resolving payroll discrepancies.
• Collaborating with internal experts and technology partners to address complex issues.
• Supporting continuous process improvement initiatives and payroll best practices.
• Building strong relationships with clients, payroll vendors, and internal team members.
• Contributing to a culture of learning, collaboration, and exceptional client service.
