Job summary

Rehmann is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. You will support a diverse portfolio of clients by delivering accurate payroll processing, ensuring compliance, and helping clients navigate payroll requirements with confidence.

Responsibilities include processing payroll for multiple clients, coordinating tax registrations, and maintaining payroll systems. A strong focus on accuracy, client service, and collaboration will help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of payroll-related experience.
• Experience supporting multiple clients or working in a service-oriented environment is a plus.

What You'll Do

Technical Expertise

• Experience with payroll platforms such as Gusto, ADP, QuickBooks Online Payroll, or similar systems
• Knowledge of payroll processing, compliance requirements, and multi-state payroll tax regulations
• Understanding of payroll setup, system integrations, and payroll reporting
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience supporting benefits administration, including health and retirement plans
• Ability to work with time-tracking systems and payroll integrations
