Job summary

Capital Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Raleigh, NC. You will ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

You will handle payroll data, process wages, reconcile discrepancies, and collaborate with HR and Finance to keep payroll information integrated across departments. This role demands confidentiality and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or ADP Lyric preferred.
• Experience with CDK and/or Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accurate payroll data, including employee information, hours worked, deductions, and other payroll-related details.
• Calculate and process employee wages, including regular pay, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and other compensation.
• Process payroll accurately and timely in accordance with established deadlines.
• Review payroll information for accuracy and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Generate payroll reports for management, accounting, and regulatory purposes.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
• Partner closely with Human Resources and Finance to ensure payroll information is accurate and seamlessly integrated across departments.
• Stay current on applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour laws and payroll regulations.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee and payroll information.
• Support payroll-related questions and assist with research and resolution of payroll issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
