Quality Services Moving is seeking an Entry-Level Payroll Specialist to support our bi-weekly payroll operations. Training will be provided and there is a clear path to increased responsibility.

This role is ideal for someone starting a career in payroll, accounting, or bookkeeping, with opportunities to learn QuickBooks and payroll systems while handling time records and payroll reports in a fast-paced, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or a degree in accounting, business, or a related field is a plus
• Up to one (1) year of experience in payroll, bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative work (internships and academic experience considered)
• Training will be provided; opportunity for increased responsibility

Position Summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing accurate bi-weekly payroll
• Review and verify employee time records
• Prepare payroll adjustments, corrections, and reports
• Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation
• Support payroll reconciliations and audits
• Follow company payroll policies and applicable regulations
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism

Required Qualifications

• QuickBooks experience (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or a degree in accounting, business, or a related field is a plus
• Up to one (1) year of experience in payroll, bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative work (internships and academic experience considered)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Willingness to learn and take direction, with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with QuickBooks Payroll, Paycom, ADP, or similar payroll systems
• Basic understanding of payroll practices or wage-and-hour regulations
• Bilingual proficiency
