Strayer Education, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage payroll for staff in Oregon. You will respond to payroll inquiries, assist with time entry, and coordinate with HR and campus personnel to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will handle pay inputs, support tax elections, and apply knowledge of W-2 and Cafeteria 125 deductions as part of a collaborative payroll team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Detail oriented with follow-up and issue-resolution capabilities.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Understanding of FMLA rules and garnishment rules by states.
• Strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and professional communication with confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Enters payroll documentation for processing as it is received.
• Responds to employee payroll inquiries.
• Assist employees with utilizing timekeeping system.
• Prepare pay input entries for managerial audit prior to completion of payroll using Workday Payroll Calculations feature.
• Assist employees with utilizing Employee Self Service for taxes and payment elections.
• Understand and assist with W-2 inquiries and Cafeteria 125 pre-tax deductions.
