Overview

As a Payroll Administrator, you will own end-to-end payroll operations, tax compliance, and accurate employee compensation across multiple countries using Workday. You will drive operational excellence by leveraging data and system expertise to ensure timely, compliant payroll delivery while supporting a premium employee pay experience during periods of growth.

Key responsibilities
  • Execute and audit multi-national payroll cycles in Workday, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely pay across complex regulatory environments.
  • Own end-to-end payroll tax compliance, including registrations, filings, reconciliations, and year-end activities across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with People Systems and Finance to optimize Workday Payroll configurations and ensure seamless data flow across HCM, Benefits, and Payroll.
  • Manage complex statutory deductions, tax inputs, and regulatory reporting requirements, serving as the primary contact for audits, tax authorities, and external vendors.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, automation, and advanced payroll reporting to support scalability and data-informed decision-making.
What we’re looking for
  • 5+ years of experience managing high-volume payroll operations within a fast-paced, global organization.
  • Action-oriented, resilient, and results-driven professional who takes ownership, maintains accountability, and performs effectively under pressure.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Workday Payroll, including configuration, settlement runs, payroll accounting, and system optimization.
  • Deep technical expertise in U.S. payroll tax legislation, with hands-on experience navigating complex multi-state compliance, year-end processes, and audits.
  • Highly collaborative and analytical, with a continuous-improvement mindset and the ability to translate complex payroll data into actionable insights in a matrixed environment.
Physical requirements

This role is primarily office-based and involves extended periods of sitting, working at a computer, and reviewing detailed data and reports. The position requires the ability to communicate effectively, attend virtual or in-person meetings, and use standard office equipment to perform essential job functions.
