Job summary

Pacific Staffing seeks two Payroll Specialists for a temporary, high-volume payroll project in California. Must have immediate availability and a flexible schedule, with shifts at 6:00 AM or 2:00 PM, for up to 2 months.

Responsibilities include processing payroll for a large staff, auditing data, generating reports, and coordinating with HR and Finance. Requirements: 3+ years of high-volume payroll experience, advanced Excel, and experience with payroll systems (Heartland preferred).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of high-volume payroll processing experience.
• Advanced payroll systems experience required.
• Experience with Heartland Payroll strongly preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including reporting, formulas, and data analysis.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
• Must be available to start and commit to the project for up to 2 months minimum.

A regional healthcare provider is seeking two experienced Payroll Specialist to support a temporary payroll project. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who can hit the ground running and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Ideal candidates will have high-volume payroll processing, advance MS Excel and technical skills in multiple payroll systems (Heartland a plus). Candidates must have immediate and flexible schedule availability. ScheduleMust be flexible to work either a 6:00 AM or 2:00 PM shift.Flexibility to accommodate shift changes and business needs is required.

Pay range: $30-$35/hour DOETemporary assignment expected to last 1-2 monthsImmediate availability required.
