Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing across weekly and bi-weekly cycles in a unionized environment. You will collaborate with HRIS and handle salary adjustments, deductions, and final payroll actions with strict regulatory adherence.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with up to 2 years of related experience, and experience with UKG or Kronos is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 0 to 2 years of related experience.
• College Degree preferred.
• Experience with UKG or Kronos Timekeeping System.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely, accurate payroll processing in compliance with government regulations as a Payroll Specialist.
• Manage and oversee the processing of multiple weekly and bi-weekly payrolls, ensuring full compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreements and contractual obligations.
• Guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing while strictly adhering to all relevant federal and state regulations.
• Conduct thorough analysis of payroll issues, recommending and implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and accuracy as a Payroll Specialist.
• Collaborate effectively with HRIS to maintain system integrity during payroll setup and updates.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members, facilitating local training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Oversee salary adjustments, deductions, bonuses, and payroll accounting, including final checks for separations.
• Other duties as assigned
