Job summary

COPC Brand in Westerville, OH is seeking a Payroll Specialist to process bi-weekly payroll for about 2,000 employees across 90+ locations in Central Ohio. The role involves 401k contributions, garnishments, and benefit deductions while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with full-time benefits eligibility; candidate must handle diverse tax jurisdictions and year-end processing with strong Excel and HRIS skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on payroll processing experience, garnishments, W-2, and federal, state and local taxation.
• Minimum of three (3) years Accounting General Ledger experience.
• Ability to work Sundays and/or Holidays when payroll deadline requires.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payrolls accurately for physicians and employees across multiple local tax jurisdictions.
• Review payroll data, timecards, earnings, deductions, and benefit elections for accuracy.
• Process and maintain garnishments and court-ordered deductions.
• Research account reconciliations for payroll accounts.
• Generate and compile payroll reporting and assist in year-end data review and compliance.
