Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of payroll processing experience.
• Proficient in payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, or Ultimate Software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Maintain and update employee records, including tax withholdings, direct deposit information, and benefits enrollments.
• Generate and distribute pay stubs, W-2 forms, and other payroll-related documents to employees.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual payroll reports for internal review and tax filing purposes.
• Stay up-to-date on changes to payroll laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees and managers regarding payroll-related inquiries and issues.
