Base pay range

$17.00/hr - $21.00/hr

Location:

Remote position supporting payroll operations across all teams.

Your Role As a Payroll Specialist

  • Process and review employee payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Collect, verify, and calculate employee wages, expenses, and deductions.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare reports as needed.
  • Partner with Human Resources to conduct payroll audits, including changes to deductions, pay rates, and position transfers.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax, wage, and benefit regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees with payroll-related inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • 1-3+ years of payroll experience (ADP required).
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing, including balancing, internal controls, and payroll taxes.
  • Familiarity with wage and tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
