Job summary

Dexian is seeking a Payroll Specialist to accurately process biweekly and semimonthly payroll for all employees, ensuring timely payments and strict regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with Human Resources, Finance, and Benefits teams to maintain accurate records and resolve inquiries.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of payroll experience or payroll responsibilities in HR or Accounting.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong data analysis, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly and semimonthly payroll for all employees on time.
• Conduct daily and weekly payroll audits to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain accurate payroll records including hires, terminations, deductions, and taxes.
• Review and update employee payroll information across HRIS and payroll systems.
• Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Prepare pay statements, W-2s, reports, and other payroll documents.
• Respond to employee inquiries about wages, deductions, and policies.
• Reconcile payroll data and assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Benefits and others to align records.
• Support audits and confidential information protection.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and data accuracy.
