You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, maintain records, and support audits while keeping information confidential. Responsibilities include processing regular and off-cycle payrolls, handling garnishments and taxes, and generating payroll reports for HR and Finance.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of payroll processing experience.
• Working knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws, including multi-state payroll taxes.
• Experience processing payroll for both exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Proficiency with payroll systems and Excel.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and timely.
• Review payroll related paperwork including timesheets and documents.
• Process payroll per company policy and run payroll reports.
• Prepare garnishments, levies, and tax withholdings.
• Audit payroll reports and support compliance inquiries.
• Maintain payroll records and HRIS data integrity.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries confidentially.
