As a Payroll Specialist , you will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant multi-state payroll processing for employees across the organization. In this role, you will manage payroll administration through Rippling, including payroll audits, earnings and deductions, garnishments, payroll reporting, employee inquiries, and payroll-related compliance activities.
Beyond payroll, you'll serve as a key partner to HR, Accounting, Operations, and divisional leaders by supporting reconciliations, reporting, project accounting activities, and process improvements. The Payroll & Accounting Specialist is responsible for processing accurate and timely multi-state payroll through Rippling while supporting key accounting functions within the accounting department. This role ensures payroll data, employee deductions, earnings, tax information, and related records are maintained accurately and in compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
In addition to payroll processing, this position provides support across accounts receivable, accounts payable, project accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and other accounting-related activities. The role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Accounting, HR, Operations, and divisional teams.
