Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Wisconsin to own end-to-end payroll processing for multiple pay groups on a bi-weekly cycle. You will ensure payroll accuracy, regulatory compliance, and partner with Accounting on GL entries.

The role includes year-end reporting, benefits administration, and acting as the payroll/benefits point of contact. A hybrid schedule and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with payroll/HRIS systems.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local payroll regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll processing (bi-weekly) across multiple pay groups.
• Ensure payroll accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Reconcile payroll cycles and coordinate GL entries with Accounting.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding related to payroll changes and data changes.
• Handle year-end payroll reporting, including W-2s and payroll tax filings.
• Administer employee benefits and serve as the main payroll/benefits contact.

What You’ll Do:

• Own end-to-end payroll processing (bi-weekly) - wages, deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings across multiple pay groups
• Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Reconcile payroll each cycle and partner with Accounting on GL entries and reporting
• Manage payroll-related onboarding/offboarding - new hire setup, terminations, pay changes
• Handle year-end payroll reporting, including W-2s and payroll tax filings
• Administer employee benefits (health, dental, retirement, leave) and serve as the main point of contact for payroll/benefits questions

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working within payroll/HRIS systems

Benefits administration and manufacturing industry experience are a plus, but not required.
