We want to talk to you.ResponsibilitiesOwn HCM site administration and lead training so employees and managers understand how to use the systemRun bi-weekly payroll from start to finish, including deductions, taxes, garnishments, direct deposits, and support ordersProcess all required payroll reports and checks with speed and accuracyBring multi-state payroll experience to the table (a big plus if you have it)Dig into timecards, catch inconsistencies before they become problems, and work directly with supervisors to fix issues fastReview hourly non-exempt timecards in the technician time keeping system to make sure everything exports cleanly into payrollSpot patterns in recurring timecard issues and help managers get the training they need to avoid repeated mistakesBe the first point of contact for employees with questions about deductions, overtime, and payBuild new hire files and keep personnel files current with weekly updatesMaintain a clean, organized work environmentHandle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and confidentialityAssist with payroll audits, year-end activities, W-2 processing, and reportingHelp develop scalable payroll procedures that support continued company growthPerform other duties as assignedGREAT BENEFITSCompetitive SalaryHealth Benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision and Life insurance401(k) with a company matchPaid Time OffProductive Work EnvironmentQualificationsHR or compensation credentials are a nice bonusSolid payroll and HR background; HCM system experience preferredYou communicate clearly, both in writing and out loudPeople trust you, and you're genuinely good with themYou're organized, detail-oriented, and rarely miss a deadlineYou think analytically and solve problems without losing your coolYou can stay sharp and steady even when things get busyYou work well independently and know when to loop others inYou pick up new policies quickly and retain themYou're comfortable with Excel, Word, and OutlookHigh school diploma or equivalentWORK CONDITIONSPhysical Demands/Work Environment:This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs.
