Job summary

PAC is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage multi-state bi-weekly payroll for employees across multiple entities in Salt Lake City. You will ensure accuracy in hours, overtime, deductions, and benefits while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Collaborate with HR on benefits reporting, handle off-cycle payrolls, and support audits. The role requires strong knowledge of payroll tax laws, discretion, and excellent Excel skills to drive efficient payroll processing.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role doing multi-state processing.
• CPP or FPC a plus!
• Knowledge of payroll software and systems (e.g., Workday, ADP).
• Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
