You’ll join a collaborative payroll team handling 600–1,000 employees, with hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to complex payroll and commission structures. ADP/UKG/Workday experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of payroll experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with ADP, UKG, or Workday is a plus.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for approximately 600-1,000 employees.
• Audit payroll data and resolve payroll issues and discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records.
• Calculate and process complex commission payments.
• Assist with payroll tax filings and compliance activities.
• Respond to employee and manager payroll inquiries promptly.
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in accordance with company policies.

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization in Minnetonka to hire a Payroll Specialist. This is a permanent opportunity offering a hybrid schedule, a collaborative team environment, and strong opportunities for training and professional development.

• Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office)
• Compensation: $27-$35/hour
• Employment Type: Permanent

About the Team

You’ll join a well-established payroll department consisting of a Director of Payroll, two Supervisors, and a team of Payroll Specialists and Senior Payroll Specialists. The team is known for its collaborative environment, hands‑on training, and commitment to continued learning and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll for approximately 600-1,000 employees
• Audit payroll data and resolve payroll issues and discrepancies
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records
• Calculate and process complex commission payments
• Assist with payroll tax filings and compliance activities
• Respond to employee and manager payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in accordance with company policies and regulations

Qualifications

• 1+ years of payroll experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with ADP, UKG, and/or Workday is a plus
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
