This position is responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with company policies, wage laws, and payroll procedures.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage confidential information, comfortable working with multiple departments, and capable of handling payroll issues with professionalism and urgency.

Key Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll accurately and on schedule
• Review employee time records, hours worked, overtime, PTO, and payroll adjustments
• Verify payroll data from timekeeping and scheduling systems
• Handle garnishments, deductions, benefits, and direct deposit updates
• Respond to employee payroll questions in a professional and timely manner
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
• Prepare payroll-related reports for management as needed
• Coordinate with HR regarding employee status changes, leaves, and terminations
• Assist with year-end payroll processing including W-2 preparation and audits
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information

Qualifications
