Job summary

CFS is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage weekly payroll for about 900 field employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance with union payroll and governing regulations.

You will work with HR, Accounting, and Operations, maintain payroll records, handle reimbursements, per diem, mileage, and provide timely payroll support in a family-owned Wisconsin company with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with high-volume payroll.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for approximately 900 field employees across multiple locations and states.
• Validate and reconcile time and labor data to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain employee payroll records, including tax updates, payroll changes, and payroll setup activities.
• Process payroll adjustments such as reimbursements, per diem, mileage, and other compensation items.
• Reconcile union payroll reporting and ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and payroll regulations.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and partner with HR, Accounting, and Operations to resolve payroll issues.
