Job summary

Golden Entertainment LLC in Las Vegas seeks a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate, on-time pay across all properties. You will post payroll data, maintain time and attendance records, and support wage garnishment processing with attention to detail and compliance.

You’ll work with a team, use Microsoft Office and timekeeping systems, and help resolve discrepancies while adhering to Title 31 and applicable regulations. This role emphasizes service to staff and integrity in financial reporting.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year payroll or accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word, and familiarity with collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

  • Post payroll-related data including hours worked, deductions, paid time off, benefits, gratuities, and direct deposits with accuracy.
  • Review and verify payroll calculations; correct discrepancies to ensure wage accuracy.
  • Maintain wage garnishments and child support records; liaise with IRS/state agencies as needed.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee concerns; issue replacement checks and ensure accurate direct deposits.
  • Ensure compliance with gaming laws, internal controls, policies, and Title 31 where applicable.
