Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Winona, MN is seeking a Payroll Specialist (International) to support our Global payroll team. You will process HR and payroll information, oversee international payroll workflows, handle garnishments, generate reports, and provide excellent employee service.

The role is full-time with potential flexible scheduling after onboarding, emphasizing accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration within the HR team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pursuing or have degree in HR/Business or related admin experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, esp. Excel, and keyboarding.

OVERVIEW

Working as Full-time Payroll Specialist (International) in our Human Resources department, you will perform duties required for the processing of human resources and payroll information for Fastenal's Global payroll team, while maintaining confidentiality of information. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Processing Human Resources & Payroll paperwork
• Performing functions for payroll processing
• Performing processes for multiple international payrolls
• Processing garnishment paperwork
• Providing customer service to employees
• Generating reports
• Filing and scanning

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess or are working toward a degree in Human Resources/Business Administration OR have related administrative work experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Microsoft Excel and keyboarding skills
• Possess strong math aptitude
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

COMPENSATION

The base pay range for this position is $45,000 - 50,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
