Job summary

Workstream, based in Lehi, Utah, seeks a Payroll Managed Services Representative to help customers navigate payroll needs with AI-powered tools. The role blends payroll expertise with strong customer service, judgment, and process improvement, working in a hybrid in-office setting on select days.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, possess 2+ years in payroll or related fields, and communicate clearly while protecting confidential information.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in payroll, customer service, operations, HR tech, finance operations, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and use AI-powered tools responsibly.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer questions, investigate issues, and provide clear resolutions.
• Prepare regular payrolls using customer data points and recurring items.
• Review payroll data, identify discrepancies, and follow controls and procedures.
• Deliver accurate and timely payroll services to customers.
• Use AI-enabled tools and automated workflows to improve speed, quality, and consistency.
• Apply human judgment to review AI outputs and expedite recommendations.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities for automation.
• Share feedback with team leaders and the EPD team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to knowledge-base improvements.
