Job summary

Workstream in Lehi, Utah, is hiring a Payroll Managed Services Representative to support customers' payroll needs using AI-powered tools. The role blends payroll expertise with strong customer service, quality controls, and a mindset for continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with the EPD teams to streamline workflows, ensure accuracy and confidentiality, and help scale our payroll operations through automation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in payroll, customer service, operations, HR tech or related field.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Comfort with software, data, and digital workflows.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer questions, investigate issues, and provide clear, helpful resolutions.
• Prepare regular payrolls using customer data and recurring items.
• Review payroll data for discrepancies and follow controls.
• Deliver accurate and timely payroll services to customers.
• Handle sensitive payroll and employee information confidentially.
• Use AI-enabled tools and automated workflows to improve speed and quality.
• Apply human judgment to review/validate AI outputs.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities for automation.
• Share customer feedback and insights with team leaders and the EPD team.
• Participate in testing and rollout of new AI tools and processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to knowledge-base upgrades.
• Meet service, quality, productivity, and customer-experience goals.
• Support a collaborative team environment through knowledge sharing.
