Job summary

Internet Brands is seeking a Payroll Senior Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for 1600+ employees using ADP Workforce Now, including data entry for hires and terminations, garnishments, and benefit transmissions.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; overtime is an hourlyPaid OT.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Payroll/HR experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in accounting or finance preferred
• Experience administering Time & Attendance systems is preferred
• Experience in processing within ADP Workforce Now is a plus
• Great follow-through, math/logic aptitude, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Process payroll from beginning to end for 1600+ employees in ADP
• Assist data entry of new hires and terminations
• Assist in processing manual checks for terminated employees
• Research payroll inquiries via ticketing system
• Create payroll upload files for ADP
• Prepare payroll communications emails
• Review and input garnishments into ADP
• Assist in payroll review in ADP
• Handle Fidelity loans and 401(k) deferrals in ADP
• Reconcile commissions and contractor payments
• Assist integration of payroll runs from acquisitions
• Process annual merits and increases
• Calculate special and retroactive payments
• Assist Payroll Manager with ad hoc projects
• Process wires for benefit plans (HSA, FSA, 401K, etc.)

We're looking for a Payroll Senior Specialist to join our team!

Essential Responsibilities

• Process Payroll from beginning to end for 1600+ employees in ADP
• Assist in data entry of new hires and terminations, if needed
• Assist in processing manual checks for terminated employees, if needed
• Research employee payroll inquiries or answers ADP questions through the ticketing system
• Create payroll upload files to go into ADP
• Prepare communications emails for Payroll
• Review and input garnishments into ADP
• Assist in the review of payroll in ADP
• Download of Fidelity Loans, deferrals to enter into ADP, including any transmissions of 401K files to Fidelity
• Reconciliation and review of commissions and contractor payments
• Help in integrating Payroll runs from recent acquisitions
• Processes all annual merits and increases
• Calculates special & retroactive payments
• Assist the Payroll Manager with ad hoc projects, as needed
• Process wires for benefit plan HSA, FSA, 401K, NQ 409A&B, TSA

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years of Payroll / Human Resources experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in accounting or finance preferred
• Experience in administration of any Time & Attendance system
• Experience in processing within ADP Workforce Now a plus
• Great follow-through skills, and good with math and logic
• Great customer service mindset

• Intermediate Excel skills
• Interact with colleagues, team members, and other department staff, as well as management and executives in a professional office setting
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments under high pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work overtime, if needed (this is an hourly position with paid OT)

• Assist in training of new Payroll employees
