Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Payroll Processor for USA and Canada to join a 100% remote team. You will process weekly payroll across multi-state and Canadian locations, handling hours, commissions, and route sales pay, while ensuring compliance with union rules and tax withholdings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience (both multi state and Canadian Payroll).
• Union payroll experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with HRIS/timekeeping systems and payroll tax withholdings.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll in the HRIS, including hours, commissions, bonuses, incentives and route sales pay. Both in USA and Canada
• Interpret and apply union agreement rules for pay, overtime, vacation and holidays
• Manage new hire paperwork, work eligibility checks and pre-employment results
• Enter new hires and changes to pay, status, location and position into the HRIS and timekeeping systems
• Set up and maintain employee tax withholdings
• Respond to compliance requests, including unemployment claims, contract details and audits
• Run and analyze reports, and communicate the results to management
• Build processes that keep paperwork moving smoothly across locations

Job Details

What you'll do:
