About the Role

We are expanding our Managed Services Team and actively looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Processing Analyst. This is a 100% remote position where you can work from anywhere in the US! We are looking for someone with an analytical, "accountant-like" mindset who thrives on high accuracy, compliance, and problem-solving. In this role, you will provide a wide range of services, focusing heavily on multi-client payroll processing, payroll tax reporting, audits, and resolving client payroll inquiries. You will get the opportunity to work with the latest payroll technologies and grow your skill set as you help support our outsourced payroll processing practice.

Who We Are Looking For
  • Target Background: You have experience processing outsourced payroll for multiple clients in a BPO environment OR you have processed complex payroll internally for a large organization.
  • Core Strengths: You are highly focused on accuracy, data entry, payroll tax, compliance, general ledger reconciliations, and audits.
  • Bonus Skills: Experience processing payroll within SAP SuccessFactors or SAP ECP is a huge plus! However, if you are a highly detailed payroll professional without this specific software experience, we still want to hear from you—we are willing to train the right person on the system.
  • Flexibility: We are open to candidates seeking a direct full-time role or those who strictly prefer long-term contract work.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the preparation, processing, oversight, and auditing of bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for multiple clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact to support calls, emails, and cases related to payroll for clients, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Review and ensure the absolute accuracy of timecards, deductions, and health insurance.
  • Complete employer/employee requests and system changes in a timely manner.
  • Create, run, and distribute detailed reports including leave balances, overtime, and retirement contributions.
  • Monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts relating to payroll, including payroll tax, workers compensation, 401(k), and garnishments.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual payroll reports for all federal and state authorities, and reconcile all quarterly and annual payroll general ledger tax accounts.
  • Prepare monthly workers compensation reports in compliance with client scope of work.
  • Reconcile all payroll general ledger accounts and review payroll transactions to ensure accurate posting.
  • Participate in Workers Compensation and Payroll Audits as necessary.
  • Process fiscal year-end reports and reconcile W-2 information for accuracy.
  • Assist with changes to payroll manuals, system manuals, and training manuals to keep them accurate and up to date.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in high-volume payroll processing.
  • Customer service experience with the ability to resolve issues and create positive outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to formulate and communicate recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborative and positive attitude with good interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter that is willing to jump in to learn new areas.
  • Verifiable background of integrity and trust.
  • Available to work nights and weekends occasionally to meet strict payroll deadlines.
  • 100% Remote Flexibility: Work from the comfort of your home.
  • Authentic Environment: We operate in a customer-centric culture where people bring their real, whole selves to work.
  • High Trust & Growth: We trust our employees to make decisions daily and encourage high learning agility so you can scale your skills as we grow.

We put our employees first in everything we do. We are proud to celebrate and support our differences by being an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
