California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) seeks a Payroll/Personnel Analyst to oversee payroll, personnel transactions, and related documents for 300+ Beach Building Services employees. The role ensures accurate attendance, leaves, overtime, and compliance with university policies and bargaining agreements.

The position is temporary for 1 year, with full-time time base (40 hours per week) in Southern California, Long Beach.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience required.
• Payroll or HR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing and timekeeping operations: manage payroll and timekeeping with accurate tracking of hours, leave balances, and timely payroll transactions in compliance with policies.
• Personnel relations support and compliance tracking: provide admin support for personnel matters while monitoring compliance with regulations and CBAs.
• Recruitment and onboarding coordination: assist with job postings, candidate communications, hiring documentation, and new employee orientation.
