Job summary

UC Santa Barbara seeks a Financial Services Analyst 2 to provide payroll, personnel, financial, and administrative support for the EVP/Provost offices and affiliated units. The role handles UCPath transactions, timekeeping, and general accounting tasks with a strong emphasis on accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include processing reimbursements, requisitions, transfers, and payroll actions while coordinating with multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience / training.
• 2+ years experience in financial and/or personnel operations.
• 2+ years administrative experience.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proven communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide payroll, personnel, financial, and administrative support for units within the EVP Provost Office.
• Initiate financial transactions, reimbursements, requisitions, direct payments, and transfers of expense.
• Process UCPath transactions and payroll; support Timekeeping and reporting.
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and general office duties; serve as receptionist as needed.
