Job summary

Rogue Community College is seeking a Payroll Support Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payroll operations. You will process monthly payrolls, validate data, and resolve routine discrepancies.

The role also serves as a first contact for payroll questions and supports HR/admin tasks. Qualified candidates will have an associate degree and at least three years in payroll processing, with familiarity in ADP Workforce Now or similar systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or accounting required.
• Three years of payroll/financial-processing experience.
• Experience with timekeeping, deductions, and garnishments on automated systems.
• Experience in mid-sized or larger organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly payroll processing and validation including data review and timekeeping.
• Process timecards and routine transactions, including corrections for hours and leaves.
• Handle garnishments, tax levies, and other withholding orders.
• Maintain payroll records with confidentiality and proper documentation.
