Job summary

TalentBridge is hiring a Payroll Operations Manager to oversee payroll administration and vendor coordination for a multi-location organization in the Charlotte area. The role ensures accurate, on-time payroll processing, regulatory compliance, and responsive employee support.

You will lead the payroll team, manage external providers, and focus on reporting, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with HR and Finance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading payroll operations for multi-location organizations.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Ability to manage external payroll providers and vendor relationships.
• Proven leadership, training, and team development capabilities.
• Adept at analyzing payroll data to inform decisions and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day payroll activities in partnership with an external payroll service provider.
• Manage payroll schedules, employee changes, deductions, adjustments, and other payroll-related transactions.
• Monitor payroll processing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and data integrity.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Partner with Finance and Accounting to support payroll reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
