ESPO Corporation seeks a Payroll Operations Manager in Charlotte, NC to oversee a partner-driven payroll function for accurate, timely processing. You will manage schedules, deductions, and discrepancies, while aligning with finance for correct reporting.

The role includes supervising payroll staff, delivering training, and serving as the escalation point for complex issues. Ongoing vendor coordination, SLA management, and year-end tasks are key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in HR data management and payroll coordination.
• Proficiency with Workday and ADP Lyric; strong Excel/MS Office skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate with outsourced payroll provider to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing.
• Manage payroll schedules, deductions, adjustments; resolve discrepancies.
• Supervise or support payroll staff; provide training and performance feedback.
• Generate payroll reports and provide insights to senior management.
• Liaise with vendor on SLAs and contract negotiations.
• Support plants, HR and employees with payroll inquiries; conduct system training.
• Lead HR payroll projects including system implementations and upgrades.
