Job summary

NLACRC in San Fernando Valley, CA is seeking an Operations Accounting Supervisor to lead payroll and the accounting team. You will supervise payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable, while guiding monthly and annual closes and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, 4+ years payroll, 5+ years accounting experience, and at least 1 year of supervisory experience. This exempt role offers comprehensive benefits and a hybrid work option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; required.
• Minimum 4 years payroll experience.
• Minimum 5 years progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll and operations accounting team; supervise staff.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and QA.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and accounts payable.
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation tracking.
• Support monthly and annual closing and financial reporting.
• Coach staff and develop multi-tasking across absences.
• Help implement new systems to increase efficiency.
