Job summary

North Los Angeles County Regional Center in the San Fernando Valley seeks an Operations Accounting Supervisor to lead payroll and operations accounting, supervising staff and ensuring timely, accurate processing. You will oversee bank reconciliations, payables, fixed assets, and monthly close while developing staff capabilities.

The ideal candidate has a BA in Accounting with 4+ years payroll experience, 5+ years accounting progression, and 1+ year supervisory experience; hybrid/remote options

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 4 years payroll experience.
• Minimum 5 years progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll and operations accounting team.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and operations payables.
• Maintain fixed assets records and control.
• Support monthly and annual close processes.
• Develop trainings and coach staff as needed.
• Assist in financial reporting and cash projections.
• Improve accounting procedures and implement new systems.
